Indeed Sin Chew has changed to be in favor of ruling parties when reporting their political news. I have been reading and closely watch on their movements and very obviously their neutral standing been now be sided in favor or ruling parties. Many a time their front page tends to highlight to belittle the opposition or enlarge the news of not national level. It was a surprised that they put up a topic of TARC in the front page yesterday but the clarifications from its chairman merely attacked opponent and not mentioned of the editor of the paper. Infact news media recently has caused confuse and controversial in reportings and journalist must uphold their professionalism without favor or fears so that honour and respect be promoted.
Sin Chew is not a opposition paper. On the contrary is a very strong pro-BN media.In today edition Sin Chew omitted the speech of Dong Zong Chairman Mr. Yap Sin Tian by asking the people to vote for DAP as he said MCA performance was very poor. This ts the policy of Sin Chew all the time . By black out the news not in favour of BN and give prominent reporting if PR parties e.g.Tengku Azia left DAP was published on the front page.
