To a particular Anonymous who misunderstood the intended peaceful "Rally" as "Demonstration" and kept discouraging people from the carnival, saying that :

* * "The problem lies with the voters, not the politicians." * *

1) How to 'educate' these 88 unknown voters when one don't even know where they are from?

2) How to win a game when the referee persistently allowing 88 "players" from nowhere to play against 1 opposition "player"?

3) Is it too much to demand a change of referee or asking the referee to abide the rule of the game to play fair? What if the referee ignore the fair request?

Call me Ah Sek. I am the Anonymous who keep pointing to the problem lies with voters, not the politicians.

I read the blog and read all the comments and I learn and respect the comments. Also I speak my mind and my views. I am not for BN or MCA,I am also not totally think Pakatan is superior....they all come from the same land, eat the same rice. Anwar was an Islamic extremist during his student days, we are in the same University, how he changed his color is beyond my comprehension. But these are alternatives fronts for us to choose and we need to make them work very hard to get elected, to serve.

Thanks for Mr Leng who works hard to keep the information coming and his perspective is insightful and entertaining sometimes.

You can call this Rally or Demonstration, it is the same. The intention is noble. But have you ever see one righteous 'Rally' which ended peacefully. I am just stating the fact. it does not mean you are discouraged to go, just be prepared what you are getting into. Prepare to be hurted, to be whacked or you whack people. Or you chicken out half way and let others take the beating. I have been in all these before many times, got tear gased, got chased, fell into the drain, climb over car tops, help people to evade, make a lot of friends with strangers on the road.

The phantom voters. Shit, this concept was invented by MCA, the MCA phantom members fiasco for the party struggle during Tan Koon Swan and Neo Yee Ban time, which in the end, brought down the whole MCA as it is today. What a shame!

Why are you so disturbed by 88 phantom voters? If 88 phantom voters can change the fortune of the country, then it is easy. there are something bigger to work on.

I am talking about educating people we know. the grand mother and the grand father, the uncles and auntie, including the brother who happens to be on MCA or Gerakan pay roll.
Try this, ask 20 friends u can trust and find out how many will vote for Pakatan. If u cannot convince 80% of the 20 friends to do what u believe is the right thing to do, then we have the work cut our for us, and we need not worry about the 88 or the 200 phantom voters or the EC, these are lesser of the challenges.

The fact remains Malaysian voters are cheap voters. People give them some RM 200, they are happy to sell their votes. Who to blame! People are happy to pawn away their constitutional rights for RM 200 and happy to be slaves, to be called pendatang. If the voters are not Bersih, what else need to be Bersih. I know many of you are going to get angry with me saying things not the right tune to your ears. Think about this with a cool mind about the problem of ignorant voter which I impolitely called cheap voters.

The 308 was not bacause Pakatan is good, it was because BN became so arrogant and out of touch with the rakyat. They are still out of touch with the mad dog leading the way. You see someone coming you way with a mad dog walking in front in a long leash, it becomes intimidating, right? Not sure Pakatan has performed well either since then.

PAS is the future, look at Kelatan, I want to move to Kelatan to live, I do not mind no pork in the restaurant, after all the pork these days are full of poisons. I switch over to fish!

争取公平干净选举是一个多管齐下的过程,上街游行+上网批判+教育身边的亲友,三者并不矛盾。

上街游行了,不代表就不能、或没有教育身边的亲友。

大家继续共同努力,继续互相鼓励。

This is what they claimed that the election commission worked effectively otherwise how would the opposition parties won in 5 states and creats record of blocked BN by two third majority in Parliament for the last general election.

There is a big difference between "Rally" and "Demonstration", with some similarities.

A "Rally" is one when people get together, for a common cause, to cheer a team on or promote a good cause or something like that. A "Rally" is more like a carnival, people sharing same views to come together.

A "Demonstration" is also, one when people get together, again for a supposedly good cause.
Unlike a "Rally", demonstration is more of a kind of protest which would be to show they do not agree or support with what what they are protesting. Like protesting against a war, or new taxes, electorate reform etc... Sometimes demonstration can get out of hand and violence take over and the meaning is lost in the protest where people yell and try to get attention.

Ah Sek, you judge for yourself, Bersih and the fat toad, which group is called a "Rally" and which one is "Demonstration".

Regarding your understanding of "The problem lies with the voters, not the politicians.", I think it is easier to differentiate between voters and politicians and for that I leave it to you to do your own soul searching but I know for sure the one who cheats, steals and robs is the one giving problem, not the one who is being cheated, robbed and stolen.
